LA Update
Oh my goodness. It’s March 2008, people. Where has this year already gone??? Well for me, I’ve been settling into the LA life and quite digging it. I love my manager, I love the weather, I love my apartment – life is good. I just signed with a commercial agent, Commercials Unlimited, and I’m excited to start working with them. And speaking of commercials, my Olive Garden commercial just started airing today so hopefully that will generate some Meagan Fever and make me hot in the commercial world. It’s a great way to pay the bills whilst waiting for my "big break". In the meantime, I’ve been paying the bills with the best part-time job ever blogging for Latest Beauty, which will officially launch in a few weeks. The test site is up now and you can read my daily blogs but the site will look a lot different once it launches. And we’re trying to figure it out with my unions about hosting a weekly online segment about the beauty tips and trends I write about. Since its online, it’s all dicey territory right now. “New media” was a major point of contention with the three month writer’s strike that just ended, so you can imagine. Auditions were slow because of the strike, but now that it’s over, things are starting to heat up again! Other than that, Dan and I are just livin’ it up in La-La Land and excited for what always might be just around the corner...
